Mia Khalifa says she’s been forced to block loads of people after announcing her split from husband Robert Sandberg.
The ex-adult star was replying to one Twitter user who asked: “How many DM’s do you think @miakhalifa received when she announced she was single.”
The 28-year-old replied, tweeting: “My block button has never been exercised more. Zero faith in humanity remains.”
Khalifa received a number of responses – with many of her followers offering their support.
One follower wrote: “If they were true fans, they would leave you alone and respect your privacy.”
Another replied: “I’m sure you don’t need to be reminded of a certain puck nearly taking you out but you instead took it like a champ. Take some of that implant rupturing energy and break some balls.
“You are a strong inspirational woman. Don’t let a few free willies ruin your faith in humanity.”
“Sorry to hear what you are going through. People are savage and don’t stop to think what you may be feeling sorry you have to go through all that and hope things get better,” said a third.
Another added: “So f**king disrespectful and annoying, Mia stay safe I love you.”
Others continued to be creepy.
One Twitter user said: “I wanna see your eyes… face to face mia.”
Another wrote: “Aww you broke up? Sorry to hear it. If you’re still into Danish boys that can cook, I’ll be glad to step up. You’d have to take a big L on the attractive scale though.”
While a third replied: “Mia you re-entered the market.”
The Lebanese-born social media star married the Swedish chef in March 2019 and announced their divorce several days ago in an Instagram post that she shared with her 24.8 million followers.
She wrote: “We can confidently say we gave it out all in making our marriage work but after almost a year of therapy and efforts we are walking away knowing we have a friend in each other, and that we truly tried.
“We will always love and respect each other because we know that not one isolated incident caused our split, but rather, a culmination of unresolvable, fundamental differences that no one can blame the other for.
“We are closing this chapter with no regrets and both starting our own, separately, but connected through incredible family, friends and our love for our dogs.
“This has been long overdue, but we are glad we took our time and gave it our all, and can walk away saying we tried our absolute hardest.”
We hope you’re okay Mia!
