Vera Wang has left jaws on the floor once again over her seemingly eternal youth after sharing photos from her swanky 72nd birthday bash.
The age-defying fashion designer turned 72 on June 27 and celebrated in style on Tuesday at The Jimmy in Soho, New York City, with an exclusive guest list that included Calvin Klein and Donna Karen.
The prosecco-themed birthday party was attended by 60 guests and saw Wang turn heads in a gorgeous neon yellow dress and crystal-lined headband.
There was a special performance by renowned Cher impersonator Steven Andrade, and a model dressed as Marie Antoinette served Wang’s new line of Italian Prosecco.
Photos posted on social media show the 72-year-old having a whale of a time as she danced the night away with friends.
Fans were left speechless as they flocked to her Instagram account to congratulate her.
One Instagrammer said: “Timeless Beauty, Happy Birthday 😘”
Another said: “Happy birthday phenomenal Queen. Best wishes❤️”
While a third said: Happy birthday beautiful!!!😍😍”
While others couldn’t get over the fact that she was celebrating her 72nd birthday.
One fan said: “I am sure you have the potion of eternal youth. I’m sure.”

While a third said: “She looks 27 not 72 😍”
Wang’s birthday cake was made to look like an ice bucket with a bottle of her Vera Wang x Chopin vodka and PARTY Prosecco bottles inside. Delicious.
The handsome gentlemen in the photos scrubbed up nicely in suits from the fashion icon’s BLACK by Vera Wang collection.
Women’s Wear Daily editor Bridget Foley and fashion journalist Alina Cho were also in attendance.
The fashion designer showed off her toned physique in a series of photos posted on social media last summer, which showed her wearing a minuscule Palm Angels orange crop top.
In the photos, Wang was modelling her accessory designs for David’s Bridal.
Speaking to Elle, she said: “I live alone, obviously,
“And so those photos were taken during quarantine as kind of a laugh, but also a real refusal to give up.
“I had a collection to promote with no models, no photographer, no hair, no makeup… But I was in Miami, and you know, you cannot beat Miami sunlight at 5 P.M. It is goddamn gold, you know what I mean? You could be Jack the Ripper in front of it and he would look good…
“So I said, ‘Look, we’ve got these barrettes we want to show. Let me just put them on Instagram.’ I threw on a [Palm Angels] sports bra because it was too hot for anything else; it was like 95 degrees!”
Vera Wang was born in New York in 1949.
After working at Vogue for 17 years, she completed a stint at Ralph Loren before venturing out on her own.
