Engineering and medical science have been two professions which have almost always been considered as the zenith of conventional professionalism.
There has constantly been a one up man ship over these two professional domains.
While the medicos feel they slog a lot more as compared to the engineers.
Engineers on the other hand believe they are far more creative as compared to medical science graduates.
They have forever been at loggerheads and tend to throw examples showing the weight that they hold in their respective field.
An engineer may argue that his/her work is more out there for people to see, while a doctor knows how crucial a life saver they are.
Today, we are going to bring to you a certain interesting discussion between an engineer and a doctor.

The competition
The debate is never ending and each protagonist has would have his/her own story
For few it would seem a doctor is the clear winner while few would think, there is no competing with an engineer.
Universally, people may call it the glass half filled to glass being half empty syndrome.
This story and its inception
We bring to you a story about an engineer who was unemployed for quite a while.
He decided to open a medical clinic which said “Get your treatment for $500, if not treated, get back $1,000.
”
Well, it was quite surprising that an engineer opened a clinic and this didn’t go down well with a doctor
The doctor thought of going to that clinic thinking that he may as well make $1000, since he himself was a doctor.
The test started
As he entered the clinic he said, doctor: “I have lost taste in my mouth.
” Engineer immediately called upon the nurse and said: “Please bring medicine from box 22 and put 3 drops in the patient’s mouth.
”
The doctor thought that he may get what he was expecting as the medicine which the nurse was ordered to bring was not right.
He exclaimed, “This is Gasoline!
” Engineer: “Congratulations!
You’ve got your taste back.
That will be $500.
”
The Doctor was annoyed with himself and vowed to make a comeback and get the lost money
Who would win the next round?
The doctor visited the clinic again.
He said “I have lost my memory, I cannot remember anything.
” He thought this time he will surely execute his plan.
Engineer: “Nurse, please bring medicine from box 22 and put 3 drops in the patient’s mouth.
” Doctor: “But that is Gasoline!
”
Engineer: “Congratulations!
You’ve got your memory back.
That will be $500.
”
This left the doctor at his wits end and he was agitated.
He left the clinic angrily and came back after few days.
Even the doctor won’t budgeq
This time the doctor thought that he will get even that engineer for his smartness and he would make him taste his own medicine
Doctor: “My eyesight has become weak.
” Engineer: “Well, I don’t have any medicine for this.
Take this $1,000.
”
Doctor: “But this is $500…” Engineer: “Congratulations!
You got your vision back!
That will be $500.
”
The doctor couldn’t bear the fact that thrice the engineer got the better of him.
Engineer vs Doctor
He was a hero in my story, might be a villain in yours.
That is how it is, there is little to choose between the two.
In this story, the engineer happened to be wittier as compared to the doctor.
But that doesn’t take away the fact that both these skilled professionals are best at what they do.
