Mom-of-Seven Says She Only Bathes Her Kids 3 Times a Week and Lets Them Eat With Their

A mom blogger has been branded as “lazy” after sharing her somewhat unconventional weekly routine.

Here’s the full story…

Now, Constance Hall isn’t your typical mom-of-7.

The thirty-six-year-old blogger, entrepreneur, and self-published best-selling author has made quite the name for herself online with her candid and no-nonsense approach to issues surrounding parenting and feminism.

Constance, from Australia, is the founder and owner of the clothing brand, Queen.

In 2018, her brand gained viral fame for the launch of its “size down” rule, which meant that the clothes were all sized “correctly,” meaning that for many women, they fit better once down a size.

On her idea, Constance explained that she was inspired during a shopping trip the year prior.

“I left my husband and kids in the car and I ran into one of my favorite clothing shops. I quickly tried on some things and bought nothing,’ she wrote on Facebook. “I got back in the car and I asked my husband, ‘when you see me, do you see an extra-large woman?’ He laughed and said, ‘You’re 5 foot 3 and petite.’ So I asked the kids, ‘When you see me, do you see an extra-large woman?’ They too laughed.”

In the clothing store, Constance had been trying on items labeled as “extra-large” and, when asking for a bigger size, she was told that extra-large was in fact the largest in stock.

“Imagine not existing in half of the shops you walk past…You see, I am not an extra-large woman, there is nothing wrong with that but I am not. And women who are bigger than me? They don’t only exist, but they exist brightly and beautifully and they rock beautiful clothes, you just have to f***ing make them. You may think you sized down to fit my clothes, I think you sized perfectly.”

She also went viral for her candid discussion on “sl*t-shaming.”

After one of her Instagram followers called her a sl*t, Constance shared her response with the follower:

“I don’t think you’re a sl*t because sl*ts don’t exist.”

“They [the word sl*t] were invented to control women like the boogie man was invented to control kids.”

She went on to describe how an ex of hers had tried to shame her over the number of men she had slept with, saying:

“I once had a partner threaten to tell all of our friends that I had slept with over 40 men. I couldn’t believe he would defame me like that…. Pretty sure my last count was over 50 men. 💅🏾”

Constance used her story to remind her followers to never allow anyone to shame them with their sexual history.

”Don’t let anyone wipe any notches off your belt so that they can be more comfortable with your past. Your past is your story. The only thing dishonorable is the boogie men trying to take it away from you.”

But as for the latest talking point surrounding Constance’s way of life?

Well, it’s her somewhat unconventional parenting decisions.

As stated earlier, Candace is a mother to 7 children

She lives with her husband Denim Cooke, and their kids, Sunny, Zeyke, Billie-Violet, Arlo, twins Rumi and Snow, and their youngest, Raja.

But, in an op-ed for MamaMia, she has divided opinions by revealing her unexpected approach to her children’s daily routine.

It turns out that bath-time isn’t quite as regular as it is in most households… As is the case with knives and forks at the dinner table, too.

Of course, there were some people who weren’t impressed with Constance’s decision…

But, for the most part, her followers were quick to applaud her.

Sharing her secrets on “how she survives,” Constance first explained that “dishes are the worst part” of dinner, so she simply doesn’t bother with knives and forks.

“Feast with your hands… I often put [out] a huge pile of vegetables along with another plate of sliced meat or whatever you’re making,” she explained.

She also advised picnic dinners for a cheaper option that “gets it done” and out of the way.

”In other cultures, everyone eats with their hands off the same plate… Some nights they can just eat a toasted f**king sandwich. They want it, you want to give it to them and half the time it has more nutrition than whatever processed chicken kiev you were trying to give them anyway.”

And as for bath-time?

Well, it only happens 3 times a week. She explained:

“They don’t have to bath or shower every day. They can quite often skip that part of the routine if it’s getting everyone down. I’m like, ‘Fine, stinky, go to school and gross everyone out.'”

“I personally can’t be f**ked bathing everyone every night.”

Never has a truer word been spoken. She continued:

“The American Academy of Dermatology claims that kids aged 6 to eleven only need to bath once or twice a week unless they are dirty, sweaty, or have a skin condition. I know it makes them look more loveable when they are all clean and smell fresh, but really, skipping a night bath or morning shower a couple of times a week won’t kill them.”
