Most people will agree that every relationship comes with its own set of rules or ideals to live by. What makes sense in your relationship may not make sense in mine, but it’s not either of our places to judge that fact.
Even the most open-minded TikTokers are having trouble wrapping their minds around one user’s relationship. A woman on TikTok whose username is @brookmacklin2123 recently shocked followers with the admission that she lives a “swinger” lifestyle.
Now that in and of itself might not shock too many people, but her idea of swinging is what has many people confused, concerned, and overall perplexed. Her account features videos saying that she shares her husband not only with her little sister but with her mother as well.
TikTok user @brookmacklin213 amassed 4 million views on her account’s first post. The post shows a woman who claims to be Brook with another woman, who she claims is her mother. Captioned “a real swinger household,” Brook’s husband comes in and kisses her before he leaves.
Then she asks, “What about my mom?” and he kisses her, too.
In another video, Brook and the woman she says is her mother kiss on the lips. But that’s not the only person involved. In a video set up similarly to the first one, Brook’s al|eged husband kisses her and another woman she claims is her younger sister.
It was after that video that many TikTok users began to express concern. For one, some commenters worried that the younger sister was a minor and possibly in an abu&ive situation. There were also many who do not object to swinging but felt that captioning the video “a swinger household” misrepresented the situation presented.
Later, Brook posted a video proclaiming that she keeps her man happy by “letting him play” with her sister.
“Yeah, I’m that kind of wife,” she proudly shares.
In another video, she proudly restates that.
“Yeah that’s my mom. Yeah, I let my hubby have her a couple of times a week,” she says with a smile.
At the point that she’s (1) wearing the same two outfits in all her videos and (2) continuing to make them despite the backlash against her supposed lifestyle, most people are hopeful this isn’t real. Still, you have to wonder why this is the route you’d go to get attention if it’s not.
