The search for Gabby Petito has come to a heartbreaking conclusion. Late on the evening of September 19, FBI Denver supervisory senior resident agent Charles Jones held a press conference.

There, the FBI confirmed human remains consistent with the description of Gabby Petito had been discovered near the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area. Full forensic identification will take days to confirm the identity. Gabby and fiancé Brian Laundrie were traveling the country in a van to start a travel blog when she disappeared.

On September 20, Brian’s parents were removed from their home as local authorities and the FBI served a search warrant on the house. Live updates have shown evidence boxes carried into the taped-off area, with rumors that it’s being classified as a cr!me scene.

FBI agents served a warrant on September 20 to search the Laundrie family home in North Port, Florida. Brian Laundrie, who has not been seen since September 14, was not at the residence. His parents, Chris and Roberta Laundrie, were escorted from the home as the warrant was executed.

Mid-afternoon, many watched as a silver Ford Mustang, which had sat in the driveway of the home since late Tuesday evening, was towed from the property. Onlookers believe it is Brian’s car and may have additional evidence.

The Laundrie family home has also been taped off with police tape. Some on the scene have heard authorities qualify the area as a cr!me scene, although further details have not been provided by law enf0rcement.
